Austin and I saved up a ton of points from his work travel and we got to go to Europe last month (on business class, thanks points)!
We stopped in Toronto to go to Niagara Falls, which was epic.
We went to Scotland to explore Killin (our last name) and in the Scottish Highlands. I LOVED Scotland and would gladly go back! Driving through the Highlands is so beautiful. The highlight of our time there was going to Isle of Skye. I didn’t bring my DSLR because I knew it was going to be so foggy/misty. We got drenched but it was amazing — I’m glad it was foggy because it made the gigantic rock formations more mystical and beautiful. The fall colors in Scotland were really vibrant and beautiful.
We also went to Ireland, where we hung out in Dublin and quickly went to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. It was so much more crowded than Scotland, maybe since Dublin and the Cliffs are super touristy. The cliffs are more beautiful than I imagined. I would also go there again! I found out the next day that Tyler Rye (a photographer whose work I really love) was there at the same time taking photos of a couple!! I wish I had seen him in action.
I clearly love “walking away” shots.
