Friends at Rocky Mountain National Park

Personal July 26, 2019

I haven’t posted anything in a long while! I can’t believe it’s already the end of July—that means it has been 4 months since we moved from the Bay Area to Colorado. Transitioning to a new job, area, and home in general has been the best thing ever. I’m really content here and so happy we moved, even though it seemed so scary to me to leave so many friends in the Bay Area. The cool part about moving to Colorado is that everyone wants to visit though!! In a span of 5 months we will have had 11 different groups of friends/family visit us at separate times. This has been AMAZING because not only do I get to see my friends, I also get to explore Colorado with them!!

My good friends from my old job visited me in Denver in April (see, I’m pretty behind but I just got a sweet new laptop and I’m all excited to dig up old photos and clean up my billion external hard drives and stuff). We went to Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Denver, and Colorado Springs all in less than 48 hours!! It was awesome and I got to see new places (except apparently not, because there’s a picture of me from when I was like 6 at RMNP, and my family went to Garden of the Gods in the Springs but I was sleeping).

I shot the most beautiful wedding in June in the Sequoias and I can’t wait to show that off soon! Stay tuned!!

Vertical photo post featuring the incredibly stunn Vertical photo post featuring the incredibly stunning Lindy and her beautiful venue and florals and the talent of their vendors!!!

Last year I got to photograph a wedding ceremony by some pretty redwood trees, and this year I traded those for aspens. Clear creek inn and the town of Georgetown are so cute!!

Also, a champagne toast at the end of the ceremony is a great idea 💯

Now I will delete this app again, go into my editing cave, and see this beautiful inside and out couple on my screen every night! You can see some more previews in my story highlights

Congrats to Lindy, Zach, and their little girl!!! Congrats to Lindy, Zach, and their little girl!!! These two got married on Saturday in Georgetown, and the predicted all-day rain thankfully stayed away 🎉

I was delighted and honored that they moved their wedding from Kentucky to Colorado (where they live now) and asked me to photograph their nuptials. One of my favorite parts of weddings is seeing all the family and friends love on each other and the couple—Lindy and Zach’s community is amazing and I love that I got to meet them. I get to photograph the best people 💕and it’s clear from the way that people talk about these two that they are especially thoughtful, gracious, and welcoming.

For now here are a few horizontal photo previews!
