I went to Byers, Colorado to take newborn photos of Coltin & Phawn’s daughter!
You might recognize them from a previous session! They’ve since had their third child! I love the boys’ expressions throughout this whole series. 
Their oldest son is especially smitten with his new sibling :). It is so cute!!! And this afghan is beautiful too. The sign below actually inspired me to get a last name name sign for my own house!
Phawn is so great at coordinating her family’s outfits! If you look at last year’s photos, you’ll see that that was true then as well! I made a guide on Instagram and also give clients a style guide if they want help. So good at complementing without being too matchy. Also everyone I photograph so beautiful and kind and I’m so lucky to be in the sphere of such amazing people.
Their younger son waved and said “hello baby sister” and it was THE CUTEST. I need to find another word besides “cute” but it really was!

Just look at how these boys look at their little sister! Photographing snuggle time is one of my favorite things to do EVER!!
I love the signs in her room! Seriously, photographing inside people’s homes is an excuse for me to get home decor ideas. I really just copy everyone else’s ideas for decorations.
Photographing kids with their new sibling makes my heart so happy. Watching them play with a new baby is adorable! For photos, don’t worry about how they’re behaving or if they’re standing perfectly still for a photo. I’m not here to put your kids into poses that aren’t kid-friendly—their natural interactions are what make my job fun and what make you look back and laugh!
