I took photos of Kendall and Thomas earlier this year in their super cute house near Wash Park in Denver!
Kendall and Thomas met on a blind date!!!!! That is real life, people! IT HAPPENS! And they’ve been married for almost 2 years now. Kendall & I work together, and it was fun getting to meet her husband on this day.
ALSO their home is so beautiful. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again—I love in-home sessions because I get to see other people’s decor and steal/recreate their ideas. Example: Everything in this room. They found these couches and they are the cushiest couches I’ve ever been on!
Look at this bookshelf!! I love how they’ve placed other things besides books on here too. Having a big bookshelf makes a place feel so homey. All of our books at home are mostly Austin’s because I’m an e-book kind of person (it weighs less, less back pain for carrying amirite), but I like looking at the book spines and thinking maybe I’ll read one of them one day.
On the right side of the dancing picture below is where people of olden times would store their phones & phonebooks. Because it’s 2020, what a perfect place to store masks before heading out the door! #just2020things
The light flowing into these rooms is my fave.
This picture from after they got engaged is framed on their table!
Their backyard is so welcoming—there’s a table perfect for doing work or eating dinner! AND STRING LIGHTS!
Thank you for letting me come into your home & invade your space!!! I’ve been loving the indoor sessions I’ve been doing lately. Photographing joyful people and getting to edit each session with a big smile on my face has been a highlight of my 2020.
